It’s hard to blog when you’re flying a chopper at 140 miles an hour! So just so you know, I do this in my spare time…not while I’m working! So many people are coming to see Florida – I know that Disney World is a huge draw – and so are the pristine beaches of Florida’s east coast. Florida is hot – and not just the temperature - I’m getting so many emails and calls about my helicopter tours, and business has been great.

 

Can you picture flying over the amazing Everglades? It’s an awesome site – I’m still amazed by what I see – and I’ve done it so many times. We get so close to the ground – you can see the alligators basking in the sunlight – just 10 yards away from our vantage point! It’s breathtaking!

 

I had a couple from China last week that wanted to fly over the coral reefs and view it from above. It was spectacular – we did it in late afternoon, and flew back around dusk. The lights of Ft. Lauderdale were on, the sky was pink – the sun had just set and you couldn’t have painted a prettier picture than that one. How much did that couple like it? They rebooked for the next day. Now that was cool! 

 

I have to say that this whole concept of booking with Omoly as a tour guide is working out great. I’m getting steady work, I’m doing what I love which is flying and I’m getting to meet some terrific people from all over the world. Seriously, what more could you ask for?
